Tucked off Route 22 in northeastern Bel Air is Tudor Hall, once the home of the renowned and infamous Booth Family.  Father Junius and son Edwin were internationally famous actors in the early 19th century.  A mural of Edwin performing in the old Harford County courthouse is in the Bel Air Post Office.  This was also the home of their son and brother, John Wilkes Booth.
A few days later, Pam returned to Tudor Hall to paint the balcony on the side of the house, on which the famous acting family supposedly presented monologues from Shakespeare.

Pamela says this was a "Fabulous day painting on Deer Creek near Nobles Mill."  The Nobles Mill Bridge is just one of many crossing Deer Creek, which runs through a large swath of northern Harford County, providing many scenes to paint, from bridges and mills to rapids and waterfalls.
On Nobles Mill Road in northern Harford County, with the sun moving across the brilliant blue sky on a hot summer day.

Painting at The Mill on Rock Spring Road in Bel Air.

Despite the heat and humidity, Pamela turned out for MDCFA's 2nd Annual Bear Legacy Bluegrass Festival to capture the excitement of the music and the crowd.

Two sides of Harford County's natural beauty:  lush blue hydrangeas and the lush woods of Otter Point.

Harford County's premier Plein Air Painting Festival is comprised of a juried competition and a community-based quick draw competition, which annually draw professional artists from across the U.S. to capture the county's charms.  The Festival's unique format allows painters to work at their own pace from July 1 to September 15, competing for thousands of dollars in cash prizes and sales commissions.
