WORKS IN PROGRESS
It's been a very hot summer for anyone to spend outdoors, and our painters are no exception. Taking advantage of the cooler morning and late afternoon temps, they are painting around Harford County, from the Susquehanna to the Gunpowder. Here are the records of their work that show not only what they are seeing but also how they work. Artists are allowed to work at their own pace from July 1 to September 12, but they must record their work by taking gps- and date-stamped photos of their work as it progresses to verify where and when it was completed. We developed this protocol during the restrictions of the Pandemic and found that it allows painters to show their very best work and artists who live beyond a 50-mile radius of Bel Air to limit their travels and still enter two paintings from their home area for honorable mention consideration.
