Buy Laura's Paintings
Picture
Laura Martinez-Bianco   (Marlboro, NY)

"As a plein air painter I am drawn to the light, color and shapes of a landscape. I am eager to translate these qualities to my painting surface. I challenge myself in each painting to capture not only the physical elements of the terrain, but the light, atmosphere and feeling each view provides me. When my audience recognizes the landscape I have painted and feels the atmosphere and space I was in then my challenge is complete."

Laura's work is currently in private collections in the United States and Europe. Her work has been displayed at the Varga Gallery, Hudson Valley Gallery, The James Douglas Gallery, Briggs Mountain Gallery and the Katonah Museum of Art. She has been accepted to numerous national group exhibits and Outstanding Pastel at the 2015 Adirondack Plein Air Festival and Juror's Merit Award at the 2016 Adirondack National Pastel Exhibition.
