Named for the routes and roots that connect its members in sharing music in Maryland and beyond, Celtic Corridor is a group of awarded musicians who have performed around the world. All members of this band are recording artists, composers, and teachers:

  • Billy McComiskey, on button accordian, NEA Heritage Award winner, All-Ireland Award winner, who has played with the Irish groups The Irish Tradition and Green Fields of America.
  • Donna Long, piano, is the 2023 Maryland State Arts Council (MSAC) Heritage Award winner and twice recipient of Maryland Teacher/Apprenticeship grants, and former member of Irish Groups Cherish the Ladies and the duo Brendan Mullvihill and Donna Long.
  • Laura Byrne, flute, is a Peabody Institute graduate and MSAC grant recipient.
  • Joanna Clare, fiddle, is a competition award-winner in American and Ireland.
  • Eileen Estes, vocals, guitar, and bodhran, hails from a family rich in Irish traditional culture and singing.

Close to home & affordable for the entire family.  ​Tickets in advance are $10 for ages 18 and over; $5 with a student id; and will be $15 at the door.  Students 17 and under $5.  Click on the green button to buy your tickets now.
