July 6 - Fiore Vineyards, Pylesville
Ann described July 10 as "a beautiful day in Joppatowne," painting the Gunpowder River.
How do you see the Route 40 corridor? Ann portrays its two natures, the bucolic and the industrial, a vintage tractor, relic of its vanishing agriculture and this relic of its industrial life. How many times have you driven past this site on Pulaski Highway in Edgewood without really seeing it? Ann says, it's "...an abandoned building off route 40. Been looking at it for a couple years now. Not sure if either will make the cut, but I enjoyed the challenge."
Eden Mill is always a relief on a hot summer day.
You may be rushing past this beautiful scene on the Route One By-pass, but, if you take Connolly Road in Benson, and pull into Annie's Playground, you'll find this beautiful scene that painted on July 8.
Harford County's premier Plein Air Painting Festival is comprised of a juried competition and a community-based quick draw competition, which annually draw professional artists from across the U.S. to capture the county's charms. The Festival's unique format allows painters to work at their own pace from July 1 to September 15, competing for thousands of dollars in cash prizes and sales commissions.
