Meet long-time comedian, Larry Noto, and hear about his book: "The Opening Act: Comedy, Life, and the Desperate Pursuit of Happiness" co-authored with award-winning Baltimore author, Kevin Cowherd.

April 14, 2018 Schedule:
2-3pm  Book Talk, Q&A, and Book Signing with Larry Noto at Bel Air Barnes and Noble Bookstore

Children's craft in children's book section: 1-4pm

All events free admission.  

Dan Lampton, guitarist, will play 1-2pm.

About Larry Noto:

​Larry Noto is the owner of Music Land, recently awarded "One of the Top 100 Music Stores" and "Best Store Turnaround" by the National Association of Music Merchants. Larry's father, Joe Noto, founded the store in Bel Air in 1971 and ran it until his passing in May 2015. Larry left his Baltimore. tourism marketing career to carry on his father's legacy. He had previously served as the Director of Marketing and Communications for the National Aquarium, Harbor Magic Hotels and worked for Visit Baltimore. 

 
Larry is also a professional stand-up comedian who has performed in New York and Las Vegas with headliners such as Brian Regan, Richard Lewis, Robert Klein and Brad Garrett. He is the author of the book "The Opening Act: Comedy, Life and the Desperate Pursuit of Happiness" which was co-written by long-time Baltimore Sun columnist and author Kevin Cowheard. 
 
Larry also serves on the boards of Harford County Arts and Culture Advisory Board and Scottfield Theatre Company and is a member of the Society of Italian American Businessmen.
